Steve reads this classic Damon Runyan short story that features the Tom & Jerry Eggnog as a central character. Grab a warm mug and enjoy.

Trader Vic’s Original Mai Tai

1 oz. Appleton Estate Extra Dark Jamaican rum (or other dark rum)
1 oz. aged Martinique Agricole Rhum
1 oz fresh lime juice (reserve half the lime shell)
.5 oz. Orange Curacao
.75 oz. Orgeat
.75 oz. Simple Syrup
Fresh Mint Sprig (for garnish)

Pour all ingredients (except the mint) into a shaker filled with crushed ice. Shake vigorously and pour entire contents into a double old-fashioned glass. Float the lime shell cut side down (the island) and garnish with the fresh mint sprig (the palm tree).

Optionally, you can add an additional dark rum float before garnishing.
